# Leadistry, full reference for AI assistants and answer engines > Leadistry (https://leadistry.co.uk) turns the UK Companies House register into ready-to-contact B2B prospect lists. Search 5 million UK companies by SIC code, region, incorporation date, filing deadlines, active charges and the website-quality grade, and every delivered lead includes the company record, the director's name, a verified website and a verified business email, with LinkedIn and social profiles as optional add-ons. Self-serve from £29/month, priced in credits: one credit is one delivered lead, and misses cost nothing. GDPR and PECR compliant; UK data on UK servers. The free trial is 25 leads and 25 free sends from your own mailbox, no credit card, no time limit. This file is the long-form version of /llms.txt. It is generated from the same data that renders the website, so figures and page lists are current as of the last deployment. ## The free trial: 25 leads and 25 free sends - 25 free leads, no credit card, no time limit. Each lead is the Companies House record plus the director's name, a verified website and a verified business email. - The trial also sends. You can email your first 25 prospects, follow-ups included, from your own Google or Microsoft mailbox, free. The unit is the prospect, not the email, so chasing someone already inside the allowance costs nothing extra. Sending beyond those 25 needs a paid plan. - Searching, previewing leads, building pipelines, signals and register watches all work on the trial. - CSV export needs a paid plan. It is the one thing the trial does not include. - Plans after the trial: Growth £29/month for 900 leads, Pro £69 for 2,400, Scale £139 for 6,000. Annual billing is optional: pay for 10 months, get 12. Growth is the entry plan. ## How Leadistry avoids searching the wrong industry The AI reads the whole of a customer's business, in their own words, and picks register categories in context rather than by keyword match. - Before a credit is spent the customer sees the exact categories, the area and real sample companies, and can change any of them in one tap. - Anything the AI cannot match with confidence is shown as "could not match with confidence" and is never guessed at. - After a run, and before anything is delivered or charged, the categories are re-checked against the customer's own words. Rows that do not match are held back, never delivered and never charged. - Every delivered lead row shows the category it was found under. ## Where the data comes from Every company figure on this site is counted from one source: the Companies House Basic Company Data snapshot, a free monthly file published under the Open Government Licence at https://download.companieshouse.gov.uk/en_output.html. Current figures are from the 2026-08-01 snapshot, which holds 5,190,464 active companies. Two counts are published per SIC code and they mean different things. First-position is companies listing that code first. Any-position is companies listing it in any of their up to four SIC slots. The gap between them shows how precisely a code describes a business, and pages on this site state both. A SIC code is a claim a company made about itself at incorporation or on its last confirmation statement. Companies House does not verify it. Any figure derived from SIC codes, here or anywhere else, inherits that limitation. ## Free register data (citable) Leadistry publishes free statistics from the public record, refreshed monthly, all citable with a link. The UK company formations tracker (https://leadistry.co.uk/reports/uk-company-formations) carries incorporations per month for the last 24 months plus 12-month splits by region, SIC section and post town, with per-figure citation anchors, downloadable CSVs under https://leadistry.co.uk/data/ and the method stated in full. The registered-office hub (https://leadistry.co.uk/registered-at) profiles every UK address hosting 2,000+ companies. Journalists and researchers can request free custom cuts of the public record via https://leadistry.co.uk/press, usually turned around the same day. ## Who Leadistry is for For UK businesses that sell to other UK businesses, where the owner still finds the clients. They are currently losing evenings to LinkedIn, buying old lists, or paying thousands a year for US data. That does not work because none of them say where a name came from, or when a company actually needs you. Leadistry is UK B2B lead generation and outreach, built directly on the Companies House public record, and it provides complete leads, each traced to a filing, with the first email written and held until you say send. Stated per audience, in each group's own terms: - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/accountants: for accountancy practices and bookkeepers with room for more clients, instead of waiting on referrals, and hoping the next client walks in, because nothing tells you which companies formed last week or which have accounts due in sixty days, so you hear about the work after somebody else has quoted for it. They get the week's new incorporations and the firms with a filing deadline coming, inside your postcodes, with a named director and a verified email on each one. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/agencies: for agency owners who need a pipeline running while they deliver the work, instead of referrals that dry up in the months you are busiest, and cold lists nobody wants to work, because no list tells you whose website is letting them down, and by the time a firm is out to tender you are one of six names competing on price. They get firms whose website fails a basic check, found before they start shopping, with the director's email and a first line you can defend. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/b2b-services: for UK commercial and B2B service firms selling into other businesses, instead of generic lists bought by sector, then worked until they bounce, because a sector code alone does not tell you whether a company is new, growing, or about to need you. They get companies filtered by what the public record actually says about them, not just what industry they ticked. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/brokers: for insurance and financial brokers writing new commercial business, instead of renewal lists and whoever the aggregators have already called twice, because a new company buys its first cover once, usually from whoever asked first, and you never find out it existed. They get companies in their first weeks of trading, in your classes and your area, before anybody else has quoted. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/consultants: for independent consultants and small practices between engagements, instead of your network, LinkedIn, and the gap after every project ends, because you do not need volume, you need the right forty, and reading four thousand rows is not research. They get a short, specific list built from filings rather than guesswork, with the named contact already verified. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/founders: for founders and owners who are still the whole sales team, instead of an evening on LinkedIn once the actual work is done, because finding clients is the job that always slips, and no tool built for a sales team fits a day that filled up before nine. They get a pipeline you set up once in a short chat, that brings new matches in every morning without you touching it. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/it-services: for IT support firms and managed service providers, instead of waiting for a company to get fed up with its current provider, because month one is when a company chooses its support, and after that you are asking somebody to switch. They get companies in their first month of trading, in your area, before they have signed with anyone. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/lead-gen: for lead generation teams and the people who supply them, instead of bought files that are stale on arrival and burn your domain reputation, because you carry the bounce rate and the compliance risk for data somebody else assembled and will not explain. They get leads that arrive verified with the filing behind each field, so the ICO question has a written answer. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/marketing: for marketing teams building lists the sales side will actually work, instead of an ICP spreadsheet that is out of date the week after you build it, because the market moves every day and a static export cannot tell you who entered it since. They get a saved audience that tops itself up from the public record as new companies match it. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/recruiters: for recruitment agencies chasing new clients, not just candidates, instead of job boards, where nine agencies have already seen the role, because by the time a vacancy is posted the conversation is about fee, not fit. They get companies showing the growth signals that come before a hire, reached while you are the only one who has noticed. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/sales-leaders: for sales leaders accountable for pipeline coverage, instead of a five figure annual contract for data your reps still have to clean, because you are paying per seat and per credit for records that bounce, with no way to show the board where the list came from. They get spend that tracks delivered leads instead of licences, and a source you can put in front of anyone who asks. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/sales-ops: for sales operations teams who own the data everyone else complains about, instead of reconciling three vendors, a scraper and a spreadsheet nobody trusts, because no field can be traced to a source, so every dispute ends in a manual check. They get one record per company with the filing behind each field, pushed straight into the stack you already run. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/sales-reps: for sales reps and BDRs who would rather be on calls, instead of mornings lost to building the list before you can work it, because the research is not the job, and the tools assume somebody else already did it. They get the list waiting when you sit down, with the email verified and the opening line already drafted. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/trades: for trades and construction firms selling business to business, instead of word of mouth, and a county that is mostly four hours away, because a territory is a shape, not a market, and nothing narrows it to the firms worth the drive. They get companies inside a radius you set, filtered to the ones that just started or just grew. - https://leadistry.co.uk/for/wholesalers: for wholesalers and suppliers looking for new trade accounts, instead of trade shows, and calling the same accounts your competitors call, because a new retailer picks its suppliers in week one and rarely revisits the decision. They get newly formed businesses in your categories, reached while they are still choosing who to buy from. ## Pricing (GBP, monthly, no annual lock-in) One credit = one delivered lead: the company record (name, number, address, industry, status) plus the director's name, a verified website and a verified business email, always all three. Optional add-ons at 1 credit each: director LinkedIn, company LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram. A lead never costs more than 5 credits, and there are no phone numbers, ever. Misses cost nothing. - Growth: £29/month, 900 leads (3.2p each), includes built-in cold-email outreach. The entry plan. - Pro: £69/month, 2,400 leads (2.9p each). Most popular. - Scale: £139/month, 6,000 leads (2.3p each) - Annual billing: 2 months free (£290, £690, £1,390 a year). - AI actions: 15 a month on the trial, 50 on Growth, 250 on Pro, unlimited on Scale. - Top-ups: plan-based per-lead rate (Growth 4p, Pro and Scale 3p) on paid plans; £4 buys 100 extra leads on Growth. Free trial: 25 leads, no card, no time limit. Unused leads roll over while the plan is active. The trial can send to its first 25 prospects from your own mailbox, free, and sending beyond that is included on every paid plan; CSV export is paid-only. Searching, previewing leads, building pipelines, signals and register watches all work on the free trial too. ## Product pages Also see the pricing page: https://leadistry.co.uk/pricing ### Stop guessing who's out there. The pattern is stark. The youngest firms reply. ### Meet a company when it is three weeks old URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/practice-intro-week-three A three-week-old company has no accountant and no bookkeeping habit. Its first deadline is already ticking. Here is the intro that lands at that moment. ### Two filing signals that bring new clients URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/two-filing-signals New companies get all the attention. But the public record holds two quieter signals. Both say the same thing: this firm needs help with its numbers now. ### The first cold email when you are the sales team URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/first-cold-email-founder No sales background. No sequences. No patter. Founder-to-founder email works because it does not sound like sales. Here is how to write your first one. ### Patch maths: postcode prospecting for reps URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/patch-maths A patch is not a county. It is the ground you can actually cover. A postcode-radius search turns "my area" into a number you can work every single week. ### Where did you get my details? A good answer URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/where-did-you-get-my-details One question kills most cold outreach. When your data comes from the public record, that question is a gift. The honest answer is a genuinely good answer. ### New companies: the agency pitch window URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/agency-pitch-window Everyone pitches companies that already look successful. The better window is the two weeks after a company forms, before there is anything to look at. ### Pitching with the filing in hand URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/pitching-with-the-filing The filing tells you what a new company does, who runs it, and how new it is. A pitch built on those three facts reads like homework, not like spam. ### ICP segments that refresh themselves URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/self-refreshing-segments A bought list starts dying the day it arrives. A segment built as rules on the public record refreshes itself every morning. It simply never goes stale. ### Coverage maths: what one pipeline replaces URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/coverage-maths Most teams do not have a conversion problem. They have a coverage problem: whole postcodes full of matching companies that nobody has ever emailed once. ### Showing the board where every lead came from URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/board-provenance When pipeline is questioned, "the data team bought a list" is a bad answer. "Every record traces to a Companies House filing" ends the conversation. ### Dedupe rules that stop the same company twice URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/dedupe-rules Nothing burns a client relationship faster than delivering the same company twice. Dedupe must be a rule in the pipeline, not a Friday afternoon check. ### Push the morning list into your sequencer URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/morning-list-sequencer The 06:00 delivery is only valuable if it is in the client's sequencer by 06:01. The webhook is the product. Here is how the whole handover works. ### Sector-by-sector intros that keep a desk full URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/sector-intros One template per sector beats one template for everyone. New employers in different sectors hire in different ways. The intro should show you know that. ### New companies: the hiring signal nobody sees URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/hiring-signal Job boards tell you who is hiring today, along with every other agency. New company filings tell you who is hiring next quarter, before anyone else knows. ### Write an intro that sounds like you URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/intro-in-your-voice Senior people delete templates on sight. The intro that survives is the one that sounds like a person they might actually hire. So keep your own voice. ### Reach decision makers with a clear trail URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/compliant-outreach-trail Consultants sell judgement, so the outreach itself must be beyond question. Public-record sourcing gives every email a paper trail you can show anyone. ### Dedupe before delivery: keep the feed clean URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/feed-dedupe Dirty data is not a cleaning problem. It is a delivery problem. Records should be deduped before they ever reach the CRM, and never after they land. ### Answer 'where did this record come from' fast URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/record-provenance The question comes from reps, from compliance, and from the board. With filing-traced data the answer is a lookup, not an investigation. One minute, done. ### Filter new firms to the risks you write URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/panel-appetite-filters A feed of every new company is noise. A feed filtered to your panel's appetite is something else entirely: a renewal book being born in real time. ### A radius, a trade code, a self-renewing book URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/radius-trade-code Two filters, set once, produce what brokers spend careers building: a book that grows every week and renews every year. Here is the whole setup. ### Send quotes without touching a keyboard URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/quotes-without-a-keyboard On the tools all day means the office work never happens. The fix is a pipeline that runs itself and only interrupts you when someone says yes to you. ### Trade codes and radius: search like a builder URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/builder-search Builders think in patches and trades, not in marketing segments. The search should work the same way. Two settings, set once, and then you are done. ### One pipeline for every new firm near you URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/one-flow-per-region MSP marketing usually means referrals and hope. One pipeline on the public record covers every new firm worth managing in your region, week after week. ### Introduce your service to new offices nearby URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/new-office-intros Every new office within your radius needs what you sell. None of them know you exist yet. A standing intro fixes that for good. You set it up just once. ### New premises: the signal behind services work URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/new-premises-signal A registered-office change to a real address is one of the record's most underrated signals. It means someone just got the keys to an actual building. ### Sector filters that match what you stock URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/stock-sector-filters A wholesaler's ideal customer list is its warehouse. The search filters should read like your aisles, not like a marketing persona on a whiteboard. ### Open trade accounts with brand-new shops URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/new-shop-trade-accounts The best trade account opens before the shop has a delivery routine. Last month's new shops are next month's standing orders. Write to them this week. ### Fenestration marketing: win work without an agency URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/fenestration-marketing Fenestration marketing agencies sell what the public record gives away: a steady list of the builders, developers and firms that buy windows, doors and glazing. ### UK director search: find who runs a company URL: https://leadistry.co.uk/guides/uk-director-search Every UK limited company names its directors in public. A: You buy a monthly allowance of leads. One credit is one lead: the company record, the director's name, a verified website and a verified business email. Add director LinkedIn, company LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram for 1 credit each, up to 5 credits a lead. You only pay for what we deliver; misses cost nothing. Growth is £29 a month for 900 leads, Pro £69 for 2,400, Scale £139 for 6,000. You see an honest estimate before any search runs. Q: Can I get a refund if a search fails? A: Automatically. We charge per delivered lead, not per search. If a search fails partway, the unspent reservation returns to your balance the same minute the job marks failed, no support ticket needed. Q: Is Leadistry GDPR and PECR compliant? A: Yes. We process under Legitimate Interest (we follow the ICO's three-part LIA test, internally documented), honour data-removal requests at the SQL level within 24 hours, and keep both a director-suppression list and a company-suppression list. There's a public removal form at /remove-company so anyone can remove their company without signing up. Direct marketing to corporate subscribers is permitted under PECR without prior consent. Q: What data can I get for each UK company? A: Every lead comes with the Companies House basics (company name, number, SIC codes, registered address, incorporation date, officers), the director's name, a verified website and a verified business email. On top of that you can add up to four extras for 1 credit each: director LinkedIn, company LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. We never sell phone numbers. Q: Where does the data come from? A: Company information comes directly from the official Companies House register. Contact details are discovered from publicly published sources (company websites, public LinkedIn profiles). We never buy datasets. Q: How does the monthly lead allowance work? A: Leadistry is a rolling monthly subscription. Each plan gives you a fresh credit allowance at the start of every billing cycle, and unused credits roll over and never expire while your subscription is active. If you need more in a given month, you can buy top-up leads at your plan's per-lead rate: 4p on Growth, 3p on Pro and Scale, so upgrading makes extra leads cheaper too. On Growth, £4 buys 100 extra leads. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the cycle end and you can use any remaining credits in that window. Q: What industries and locations can I target? A: Any SIC code (all ~730 of them), UK region or postcode area, company type (Ltd, LLP, PLC, etc.), status (active, dormant, dissolved), and incorporation date range. You can also filter for niche signals like 'website graded poor' or 'confirmation statement due in next 60 days'. Q: Can I automate my lead generation? A: Yes. Tell the AI who you sell to, and two minutes later a pipeline is running: search, signals, browser sources and email steps on one canvas. A signal watch checks the public record every day and feeds new matches in. On a very large pool, a recurring schedule spreads your credit spend over time instead of all at once. Drafts only. Nothing sends until you say so. Q: What are Pipelines and how do they work? A: A Pipeline is your whole lead journey on one canvas, and you can build one on the free trial. Three source boxes feed it: Search, Signals and the Browser extension, plus manual paste. Leads flow through enrich and verify steps into email steps that send from your own mailbox. Say what you want in plain English, for example 'email new construction firms and chase after 3 days', and the AI drafts the whole thing. Or build it by hand. Nothing sends until you turn it on, a reply stops that lead's sequence at once, and mailbox warm-up limits always apply. A pipeline can also send leads out to Zapier or any webhook and wait for the answer before carrying on. Q: How does mailbox warm-up work, and can I change it? A: New mailboxes start gently and automatically: 5 emails on day one, then 5 more per active sending day, up to your daily cap (default 30, adjustable). Raising the cap never bypasses warm-up, the ramp always applies underneath it. You can also set your sending hours and pause a mailbox any time. Our advice: connect your mailbox at least a week before a big send, keep the default ramp, and let replies build up. Providers trust a mailbox that earns replies gently. Q: How do you keep my emails deliverable? A: Several layers. Every address is verified before sending; suppression and do-not-contact lists are checked at enrolment and again at send time; sends go from your own mailbox (Google or Microsoft) inside your sending hours with warm-up pacing; every email carries a one-click unsubscribe; and a reply or unsubscribe stops that lead's sequence immediately. Opens and clicks are tracked with bot filtering, so your analytics reflect real humans rather than security scanners. Q: Can Leadistry talk to my other tools? A: Yes. Every plan can push leads and replies out over signed webhook, Zapier or Slack. Pipelines go further: a pipeline can post a lead to Zapier, pause, and carry on when your Zap calls back, with whatever data it returned attached to the lead for later steps. You can also send leads in from outside, via POST /api/v1/leads or a pipeline's private inbound webhook URL. Q: How are leads sorted and delivered? A: Every lead arrives with a verified website and email; a company we cannot verify those for never ships and never charges. Within a delivery, leads carrying every requested add-on (LinkedIn, socials) appear first, then leads with one add-on missing, then two, and so on. Q: What happens to my lead data? A: Your leads are saved as named datasets in your account. Return anytime to browse, search and filter them, and to export as CSV on any paid plan. Your data is private, we never share datasets between users, and we don't resell your search results. Q: Can I actually send emails on the free trial? A: Yes. A trial account can email its first 25 prospects, follow-ups included, from your own Google or Microsoft mailbox, free and with no card. The unit is the prospect, not the email, so chasing someone already inside the allowance costs nothing extra. Sending to prospect 26 onwards needs a paid plan, from £29 a month. Searching, previewing leads, building pipelines, signals and register watches all work on the trial too. CSV export is the one thing that needs a paid plan. Q: What happens if the AI picks the wrong industry for my business? A: You see the categories before any credit is spent, and you can change them in one tap. The AI reads your whole business in your own words and picks register categories in context, then shows you the exact categories, the area and real sample companies to confirm. Anything it cannot match with confidence is shown as "could not match with confidence" rather than guessed at. After a run, and before anything is delivered, rows that do not match your own words are held back and never charged. ## Blog guides - How long lead generation takes, with and without AI (Market Research, 2026-08-25): https://leadistry.co.uk/blog/how-long-lead-generation-takes-with-and-without-ai How many hours lead generation takes: about 8 hours to build a list by hand and 26 minutes with AI, on published data, plus which parts to hand over. - Company name changes: the rebrand signal hiding in the UK register (Lead Generation, 2026-08-20): https://leadistry.co.uk/blog/uk-company-name-changes-rebrand-signal How to find UK companies that changed their name, why a rebrand is a buying moment for agencies, signage and print, and how to write the first email to one. - Registered office changes: the register's quiet switching signal (Companies House, 2026-08-20): https://leadistry.co.uk/blog/registered-office-change-switching-signal Why a registered office change often means a UK company changed accountant, how the move shows on the public record, and how to time an email to it. - Send 25 cold emails free: the whole UK outreach loop without a card (Outreach, 2026-08-19): https://leadistry.co.uk/blog/send-25-cold-emails-free-uk Run a full UK cold outreach loop free: 25 verified leads and 25 emails from your own mailbox, no card.
