Is the Leadistry Chrome extension free?
Yes. The extension is free to install and free to use with any Leadistry account, including the free trial. Cached lookups never count against your quota, and paid plans remove the daily scan limit entirely.
How do I connect the extension to my account?
After installing from the Chrome Web Store, open the extension and click Connect. You'll be taken to Leadistry to sign in or create a free account, and the extension links to your account automatically. No API keys or copy-pasting tokens.
What data does the extension collect?
Only what it needs to identify a UK company: the page's hostname, its title, and public company signals like a VAT or company number shown on the page. It never sends full page content, and it never scrapes third-party or social sites from your session. Saving a lead is always an explicit click.
Which browsers does it support?
It's published for Google Chrome and works on Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave). It isn't available on mobile, as Chrome for Android and iOS don't support extensions.
Where does the company data come from?
The UK Companies House register (5 million companies, refreshed every 24 hours), enriched with verified details from each company's own public website. We don't buy datasets or manufacture contact details.
