The base register is Companies House, the official public record of every UK company: name, number, SIC code, registered address, incorporation date and filing calendar. Enrichment comes from each company’s own published website, found by our crawler and scored against the filing (registered number on the page, postcode match, director names). Nothing is bought from data brokers.
Yes, done properly. Business-to-business email relies on legitimate interest under UK GDPR, and we follow the ICO’s three-part test, documented internally. Corporate subscribers are treated differently from individuals under PECR. Every send includes an unsubscribe, and our do-not-contact lists are enforced at import and again at send.
On purpose. PECR restricts unsolicited marketing calls and the TPS/CTPS regime makes cold calling a compliance minefield, so Leadistry collects and supplies no phone numbers at all. The product is deliberately email-only.
