Remove a company from the Leadistry database

Enter the Companies House number for the company you want removed. No account needed. Removal is permanent and applied within seconds, including a wipe of any cached enrichment data.

You can find this on the Companies House website at find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk. Search for the company name; the number appears on the company overview page.

Optional. Only used if we need to follow up about a verification dispute. We don't add this to a marketing list.

We log the request (Companies House number, optional email, IP, timestamp) so we have an audit trail. We don't add you to any marketing list.

What happens after you submit:
  1. We add the company to our permanent removal list.
  2. Any contact details we stored for it are deleted right away.
  3. We flag the company so it is never re-added when we refresh our data from Companies House.
  4. Customers stop seeing the company in any search or download within seconds.

One company at a time. The form takes a single Companies House number per request. To remove multiple companies, submit the form once for each.

Director-level removal is separate. If you're an individual who wants your director name and LinkedIn removed from lead records (without taking the whole company down), use the director suppression form.

Trouble? Email hello@leadistry.co.uk through the contact form and we'll process the request manually within 24 hours.

Common questions

Who can request removal? Anyone. You do not need to prove a connection to the company, because removal only ever reduces the data we hold. That is also why the form needs no account and no email address.

Does this change the Companies House register? No. Companies House is the official public register and is not operated by us. This form removes the company from Leadistry only; the company's public filings remain available at Companies House.

Can a removal be undone? Not through this form, removal is designed to be permanent. If a company was removed by mistake, contact us through the contact form and we will review it manually.

How do I find a company's Companies House number? It appears on the company's certificate of incorporation and on its public page at Companies House. It is 8 characters, usually all digits (Scottish and Northern Irish companies start with SC or NI).
