Data Protection Complaints
If you have a concern about how Leadistry handles personal data, you can raise it with us directly. This page explains how, what we do, and our timescales.
How to complain
You can raise a data protection complaint by any of these routes. You do not need to use any special form or wording.
- Email: hello@leadistry.co.uk (please mark it “Data protection complaint”).
- Remove a whole company: leadistry.co.uk/remove-company (no account required, applied automatically within seconds).
- Remove your own director details: our self-service removal form (reviewed and actioned within 24 hours).
- Post: Cameron Clark (trading as Leadistry), 52 Corning Road, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, SR4 6EE.
What to include
You do not have to include any of this, but it helps us resolve a complaint faster if you can tell us:
- Which record your complaint concerns, for example a company name or Companies House number, or the personal details you believe we hold.
- Your relationship to that record, for example a director of the company, or the person the details relate to.
- What has gone wrong from your point of view, and the outcome you are looking for, for example removal, correction, or an explanation.
- A way to reach you for the acknowledgement and the outcome. An email address is easiest, but post works too.
Complaints are free to make, handled in confidence, and making one never affects how any other request of yours is treated.
What we do when we receive a complaint
- Acknowledge your complaint in writing, with a reference, within 72 hours (and in any case within 30 days).
- Investigate it, and apply any immediate remedy (for example suppressing or removing a record) straight away.
- Respond with the outcome and the action taken, normally within 30 days. If a complaint is complex we will tell you and may extend by up to two further months.
- Keep you informed of progress if it takes longer than expected.
Where your complaint is also a request to exercise a data-protection right (access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, or portability), we handle it within the timescales required by UK GDPR, free of charge.
Your right to complain to the ICO
We would like the chance to resolve your concern directly, but you can also contact the UK supervisory authority at any time:
