Lead generation for UK recruitment agencies
The companies most likely to need an external recruiter are the ones who've just hit growth thresholds: a director-only ltd that just filed micro-entity accounts last year and now needs full statements. Leadistry filters Companies House for those patterns.
Why Leadistry for this use case
Target growing companies
Sort by recently changed accounting category (micro → small → medium), a strong proxy for headcount growth that recruiters can act on weeks before the company's own 'we're hiring' page goes up.
Sector-specific SIC searches
Tech recruiter? Search SIC 62012 (computer programming activities). Healthcare? SIC 86. Construction? SIC 41–43. Companies House SIC codes are surprisingly granular and Leadistry indexes all 5-digit codes.
Director-level outreach by default
Every Gold lead is tied to a named decision-maker, not a generic info@ inbox. Recruiter outreach gets ignored at info@; it converts at director@.
How a search would look
Recommended SIC codes
- 62012, Business and domestic software development
- 62020, Information technology consultancy activities
- 70229, Other management consultancy activities (not financial)
- 78101, Activities of employment placement agencies
Extra filters
- Incorporated 2–7 years ago (sweet spot for growth)
- Excludes recruitment agencies themselves (avoid pitching peers)
- Optional: postcode radius around your office for territory-based agencies
What each lead contains
Founder/director name + corporate email + LinkedIn (personal and company) + website. Useful for both BD outreach and candidate placement intelligence.
Common questions
Can I find companies hiring specifically in [my sector]?
Yes, every search is SIC-coded. Pick the 5-digit codes that match your sector and the platform only returns those companies. You can save the filter as a recurring search so new entrants drip in automatically.
How is this different from LinkedIn Sales Navigator?
LinkedIn skews towards companies that have already invested in their LinkedIn presence, usually after 3+ years of trading. Leadistry surfaces UK companies from the day they incorporate, including ltds that don't have a LinkedIn page yet. Cheaper too.
Do leads include the director's named email?
Where the company publishes one on its website and we can verify it (MX-checked, matches the website domain, not a free provider), yes, Gold tier delivers the named-personal email. If the website is found but a verified named email isn't, the lead drops to Silver. Recruiters typically convert best on Gold tier leads where the named email goes straight to the decision-maker.
