Connecting Leadistry to Claude: your leads in the chat you already use
Leadistry runs as an MCP connector, so you can work your agents, your Feed, your pitches and your replies from inside Claude. Forty tools, four ready-made playbooks, nine permissions you can see and revoke.
Every second feature request we get has the same thing underneath it: people want to talk to their leads. Rather than build a fourth chat window inside our own product, we exposed the product over MCP so you can use the one you already have open.
What connecting actually gives you
Once connected, Claude can work your account directly rather than describing what you should click:
- Your agents. List them, create one from a sentence, pause and resume, and read what each has matched.
- The Feed. Read this morning's cards, preview one, approve or skip in bulk, and ask for a different opening line.
- Your pitches. Write a new one, put it on the Feed, start an A/B test and read the verdict.
- Sent and replies. See what went out, read a reply in full, draft an answer and send it.
- Searches and results. Quote a search, run it, list past ones and export.
Forty tools in total, plus four ready-made playbooks: a morning run, a weekly review, a sweep of why-now reasons, and writing a new pitch.
Connect your account to Claude and work your agents, your Feed and your replies in conversation. Anything that spends leads quotes you first. 25 free to start.
The two rules that keep it safe
An assistant with access to your account needs harder limits than a human with the same access, because it will act faster and it will not hesitate.
Anything that spends leads quotes you first. Asking for a search returns a number and a token. Starting that search refuses to proceed without the fresh token for that exact quote, so a search cannot be run on a stale estimate or a different set of options than the one you saw.
Switching autopilot on takes a confirmation and your own words. It is the one setting that changes what happens while you are not watching, so it asks for a reason typed by you, not a yes.
What it deliberately cannot do
The list of refusals is as deliberate as the list of tools. Through Claude, Leadistry cannot connect your mailbox, touch billing, delete your account, manage users or teams, handle suppression and removal requests, send in bulk, or reach anything administrative.
Those either need a browser and a human, or are irreversible enough that a conversation is the wrong place for them.
Permissions you can actually see
Connecting asks for nine scopes, and the consent screen names each one in plain English rather than a slug. Two carry a warning line, because they are the two that can cost you something: starting a search spends leads from your balance, and writing settings includes switching autopilot on.
Access tokens are opaque and stored hashed rather than as signed tokens that stay valid once issued. The practical effect is that Disconnect is immediate: revoke it and the next call fails, with no window where an already-issued token keeps working.
Setting it up
- Open Settings, then Integrations. The Claude connector sits at the top.
- Add the connector URL to Claude as a custom connector.
- Sign in and read the consent screen, which lists all nine permissions.
- Ask it something small first, like what your agents matched this morning.
A reasonable first instruction is simply "run my morning": it reads the Feed, tells you what arrived and why, and stops before sending anything.
Why we did it this way
Two reasons, and neither is cost. Our entire AI spend to date is about sixty pence, and the Drafter costs roughly five hundredths of a penny a card, so anyone claiming a move like this is about model bills is selling something.
The first reason is that it is software we no longer have to build. The second is distribution: a place in a daily habit we could not buy at our marketing budget.
What changed alongside it is in Leadistry V2, and the connector's own page is product/claude.

Common questions
What can Claude do with my Leadistry account?
Work your agents, read and act on the Feed, manage pitches and A/B tests, read replies and draft answers, and run or export searches. Forty tools in total, with four ready-made playbooks for the morning run, the weekly review, a why-now sweep and writing a new pitch.
Can it spend my leads without asking?
No. Anything that would spend leads has to quote you a number first, and the call that actually runs the search refuses to proceed without a fresh confirmation matching that exact quote. A stale or altered quote is rejected rather than silently re-priced.
What can the connector not do?
It cannot connect your mailbox, touch billing, delete your account, manage users or teams, handle suppression and removal requests, send in bulk, or reach anything administrative. Those need a browser and a person, by design rather than by omission.
How do I disconnect it?
Revoke it from Settings and access stops on the next call. Tokens are stored hashed rather than issued as self-contained signed tokens, so there is no period where a previously issued one keeps working after you have withdrawn access.
