Everything the Leadistry AI assistant can do for you
Leadistry's AI assistant sits beside every page of the app and does the work when you ask, from finding companies and writing your emails to answering replies. Here is everything it can do today, in short lists.
Leadistry's AI assistant sits beside every page of the app. Ask it for something in a sentence and it does it on your account, the same way you would by clicking, then tells you exactly what changed. This page lists everything it can do today, grouped by the job you are doing.
How it works on every request
You ask, it acts, and you stay in charge of anything that sends an email or uses your leads.
- It does the job, not just explains it. Ask for a change and it makes the change.
- Small changes happen straight away. A new subject line or a paused agent changes at once, with an Undo button beside it.
- Anything that sends or spends waits for your yes. Sending emails, using leads or anything that cannot be undone shows a card first, and nothing happens until you press Confirm.
- It checks its own work. After each change it reads your account back and tells you what changed. It never says something is done unless it is.
- It asks when it is not sure. If you have two versions of your email or three agents, it asks which one you mean, with buttons to press.
- It does every part of a long message. Ask for several things at once and it does them all, or tells you which one it could not do and why.
- A question is only a question. Asking why something happened never changes your account.
- It remembers how you like to work. Tell it once, for example "always ask before changing every email", and it keeps to that.
Finding companies to email
Your agents find new UK companies from the public record every morning. The assistant sets them up and changes them for you.
- Set up an agent from one sentence about who you sell to and where.
- Change what an agent looks for: its places, the kinds of business, how old the companies are, independents before chains, and kinds to leave out.
- Try a change first and see what it would bring before you make it.
- Pause, start again, delete or bring back an agent, or pause them all except the ones you name.
- Set how many leads come a day, for all your agents or for one, and how fast they arrive.
- Bring in more leads today when you need them.
- Run a one-off search with the price shown first, or run an old search again.
- Add companies you already know, by name or company number.
- Look up any UK company on the public record.
- Check a lead against what its agent was set to find, and give it back if it was wrong.
Your leads
- Find leads by trade, town, reason, date or your own tags.
- Add notes and tags to any lead.
- Get a short brief on a company before you write to it.
- See what used your leads, by agent or by day, and your leads by month.
- Download your leads as a spreadsheet for a month or any dates, on any paid plan.
Writing your emails
The words are yours. The assistant changes them the way you ask, and shows you what they will look like first.
- Change the words of every email, one version or a single email, in one request.
- See how a change reads for your own companies, side by side, before you confirm it.
- Use fill-in fields: the company name, town, first name, director, trade and the reason you are writing.
- Set how every email greets people.
- Give the first line rules: shorter, warmer, plainer, or a word limit.
- Add words never to use and points always to mention.
- Make versions of your email for different kinds of company, copy one, or retire one.
- Run an A/B test, including a test of the subject line on its own, and keep the winner.
- Check an email for spam risk before it goes.
- Explain where any line of an email comes from.
Tell it who you sell to and it sets up your agent, writes your emails and keeps your Feed full. Start with 25 free leads, no card.
How your emails look
- Change the colours and style, or copy the look of your website.
- Add or trim your logo, and add pictures, including ones from your own website, or a video.
- Add a headline, bullet points or a button, such as a link to book a call.
- Change the fonts, text size, button corners and footer tagline.
- Add a photo of you beside your name in the sign-off.
- Pull reviews, accreditations and booking links from your website.
- Make your email look like one you liked: paste it in or show a screenshot.
- Send plain-text emails.
- See every past version of your email and put an earlier one back.
- Send yourself a test.
Follow-ups
- Switch follow-ups on or off, and set their days and words.
- Choose one, two or three follow-ups.
- Rewrite, skip or approve a follow-up that is waiting.
- When someone is out of the office, their follow-ups wait until they are back.
Your Feed of emails waiting for your yes
- List what is waiting, preview any email, and approve or skip it.
- Approve or skip in batches: everything from one agent, town, trade or reason.
- Rewrite one email's first line or paragraph, or change its subject.
- Change a subject or greeting across many waiting emails at once.
- Switch autopilot on or off, and give it rules, such as skipping companies with no website.
- Put companies you saved with the Chrome extension on your Feed.
Replies and sent emails
- Search everything you have sent.
- See your replies sorted by what they say: a meeting, a quote, interested, not now, or out of office.
- When someone replies with interest, a draft answer is waiting for you.
- Change a draft in your own words, and send it only when you say so.
- See what your replies say most, to improve your next email.
- Mark a reply dealt with, and see who clicked but did not reply.
- Mark a company talking, won or lost, including "won: a meeting booked".
- Stop chasing a company, or stop an approved email before it goes.
- Put a company aside and try again on a date you choose.
- Explain why an email is waiting, held or bounced.
- Show everything that has happened with one company.
- Write to someone else at a company when the first person was wrong, or try another address after a bounce.
Sending and your mailbox
- Set your sending hours and days, and how many emails go a day.
- Set holiday dates when nothing goes out.
- Change the name your emails come from.
- Check your mailbox's health: bounces, full days and what is queued.
- Check an email address or a domain.
- Keep a list of people and companies never to email.
- Show the button to connect your mailbox. It never asks for or handles your password.
Results and advice
- Show your results and reply rates, and this week against last week.
- Tell you what to do today, most important first.
- Pass on the week's findings and suggestions from the Desk, and make the improvements you agree to.
- Tell you when your plan renews and how many leads you have left.
Your business
- Read your website and fill in your business profile.
- Learn about your business in a short interview, one question at a time.
- Change your whole set-up on one card when your business changes.
- Keep a history of your business details and put an earlier one back.
Apps and the rest of your account
- Send each new lead and reply to Slack or a webhook, and choose what goes to each. Zapier and Make can pass them on to most CRMs.
- Send a test lead to check an app works.
- Choose where Leadistry's alerts reach you: by email, in Slack or not at all.
- Pause the whole account, or switch it back on.
- Make several changes on one card, undo your last few changes, or set a change or a reminder for later.
- Set rules, such as "when a reply says not interested, stop the follow-ups".
- Send an idea or a request to the Leadistry team, vote on ideas and see what became of them.
- Speak instead of typing, in browsers that support it.
What it will not do
Some things stay with you or with a person at Leadistry, on purpose. The assistant will not:
- Change your plan, your price or your billing.
- Add leads to your balance or give refunds. A person at Leadistry decides those.
- Touch anyone else's account.
- Ask for or handle passwords, including your mailbox's.
- Delete your account or your data. Settings has those.
- Change how the app itself works.
For each of these it shows you the right button or passes your request to a person, so you are never left at a dead end.
Try it on your own business
Every account gets the assistant, including the free trial. Sign up, tell it who you sell to in a sentence, and it sets up your first agent in a couple of minutes. See how the Desk and the assistant fit together, how agents find companies and what each plan includes.
Common questions
What can an AI assistant do for lead generation?
In Leadistry it does the jobs you would otherwise click through yourself. It sets up agents that find UK companies, writes and changes the words of your emails, sends the ones you say yes to, drafts answers to replies and tells you what to do next. You ask in a sentence, on any page of the app.
Does the assistant send emails without asking me?
No. Anything that sends an email, uses your leads or cannot be undone shows a card first, and happens only when you press Confirm. Small changes it can undo, such as a new subject line, happen straight away with an Undo button beside them.
How do I know it actually did what I asked?
After every change it reads your account back and tells you what changed, in plain words, with an Undo button. It only says something is done when your account shows it is.
Can I write to it in my own words?
Yes. Write the way you would to a colleague, for example "stop sending to builders and only look in Leeds". If your message could mean two things, it asks which, with buttons to press, rather than guessing.
What will the assistant not do?
It will not change your plan or your price, add leads to your balance, give refunds, touch another customer's account, ask for passwords or delete your account. For those it shows you the right button or passes your request to a person at Leadistry.
Is the assistant included in the free trial?
Yes. It comes with every plan, including the free trial of 25 leads, and it is on every page of the app from the moment you sign up.
