A small division with two codes of any size. 15120, luggage, handbags, saddlery and harness, is the larger, and it bundles two quite different trades: fashion accessories and equestrian equipment. 15200 covers footwear. Tanning and dressing of leather, 15110, is now tiny in company terms, which tells you the UK end of this industry is finishing and making rather than processing hides.

Is saddlery really in the same SIC code as handbags?
Yes. 15120 covers luggage, handbags and the like, saddlery and harness, which puts a fashion accessories business and an equestrian one in the same bucket. It is one of the clearer examples of SIC 2007 grouping by material and technique rather than by market. If you sell to only one of those trades, expect to filter the list by hand.
Where does a cobbler or shoe repair business sit?
Not here. 15200 is manufacture of footwear, whereas repair of footwear and leather goods is 95230 in division 95. The split runs through the whole classification: making something and mending it are treated as different activities, and suppliers who serve both should pull the two codes together.
