Can I email sole traders and partnerships through Leadistry?

No. In UK law sole traders count as individuals, not companies, so a different rule applies to emailing them. Leadistry holds sole traders and partnerships back automatically, and you are never charged for them.

What our terms ask of you

Our Terms of Service say you will only send unsolicited marketing email to corporate subscribers: limited companies, including LLPs and PLCs. You will not contact sole traders or English, Welsh or Northern Irish general partnerships without their prior consent.

You also will not contact anyone at a personal webmail address (such as Gmail, Outlook, Proton or a UK internet provider's webmail) without their prior consent, even if they work for a limited company. You must check whether a record is a company, a sole trader, a partnership or a person before you use it.
