Where is my data stored, and who else processes it?

Our backend, worker and database are hosted by Railway, and the website by Vercel. Our sub-processors page lists every third party that handles personal data for us, what each does, what reaches it and where it is. Most are in the United States.

Transfers outside the UK rely on the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent mechanism published by the processor.

If you are in our company records

Four processors handle the personal data in our company records. Anthropic writes and sorts email text, with OpenAI used only when a request to Anthropic fails. Serper runs web searches, which can include a company name and an officer's name. Webshare is the proxy network our crawler uses to fetch public web pages.

Neither Anthropic nor OpenAI uses data sent through their APIs to train their models, under their commercial API terms.

Changes to the list

We update the sub-processors page before a new one starts handling personal data, and email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
