A lead is wrong. Can I get it back?

Tell the assistant which lead is wrong. It checks the company's Companies House facts, as they were when the lead came, against what your agent was set to find at that time. If the check finds it wrong, it shows you a card. Press Confirm and 1 lead goes back to your balance and the company comes off your Feed and Leads.

What the check looks at

It tells you what it found in plain words.

  • Whether the company was trading
  • Whether its kind of business was one the agent was set to find, and not one it left out
  • Whether its registered office was inside the agent's area
  • For a newly registered company, whether it was inside the agent's how new window

When a lead is not given back

A lead that matched what the agent was set to find stays used. Changing an agent later never makes older leads wrong: the check always uses the agent as it was when the lead came. If the agent was set to the wrong thing, change it, and that changes what comes next.

A lead you have approved an email to, or already emailed, cannot be given back this way. If the email has not gone yet, cancel it first. Each lead can be given back once.

When the check cannot tell

Some leads cannot be checked, such as leads from a search or older leads we have no record for. The assistant offers to send those to the team, and a person decides.

Not what you needed? Email hello@leadistry.co.uk and a person will reply, or go back to the help centre to find another answer.
