How do I connect an IONOS, GoDaddy or other mailbox?

On the Mailbox page in Settings, type the email address and the password you use to sign in to that mailbox, then press Connect mailbox. This works for hosts such as IONOS, GoDaddy, Hostinger, Zoho, 123 Reg, Fasthosts and Namecheap.

We check them with your email host, which takes up to half a minute, and send one test email to you. The password is kept encrypted, and nobody at Leadistry can see it. We use it only to send your emails and find the replies to them.

IONOS

Use the password for the mailbox itself, not your IONOS account password if they are different. If you switched on two-step verification for the mailbox, make an app password in IONOS Webmail under Settings, then Security, and use that instead.

If the password changes

If your host stops taking the password we hold, the Mailbox page says so. Press Reconnect and enter the new one.

Microsoft mailboxes

A Microsoft mailbox cannot connect by password. Use Continue with Microsoft instead.
