Send 25 cold emails free: the whole UK outreach loop without a card

Outreach19 AUG 2026 · 7 MIN READ · UPDATED 26 SEPT 2026

Most tools let you look at sample data. A Leadistry trial gives you 25 checked UK leads and 25 emails sent from your own mailbox, so you can run the whole loop and read the replies before paying anything.

Most cold email tools let you look. A few let you export a sample. Almost none let you send. A Leadistry trial is 25 leads and 25 free emails, sent from your own mailbox, with no card at any point. You can run the entire loop, from "who do I sell to" through to a reply landing in your inbox, before you have paid us anything. This post walks that loop in the order it happens, and is straight about the one thing the trial leaves out.

What the free 25 actually includes

Each of the 25 is a complete company you can write to today, not a row in a spreadsheet:

  • The Companies House record. Name, number, status, incorporation date, registered office and SIC codes, from the public record.
  • The director's name when the public record has it, so the email opens with a person rather than "Dear Sir or Madam".
  • A checked website, matched to that specific company and fetched live rather than guessed from the name.
  • A business email that belongs to the company, taken from its own site, at a domain that accepts mail.

25 free leads means exactly 25 leads. One lead is one lead whatever else it carries, so the director's LinkedIn, the company LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram never shrink your 25 into 12. Those extras are included free whenever they are found, on the trial and on every paid plan.

The one thing the trial does not include is downloading. Taking your leads away as a file, from the Leads screen or from Exports, and the leads link that feeds Google Sheets, are paid features. You can read every lead in the app, and you can email all 25 of them, but the download button belongs to the paid plans. Better to read that here than to discover it at the end.

Step one: describe your business in your own words

You do not pick codes or build a query. You say what you sell and who buys it, in the words you would use to a person: "office supplies and toner, mostly to law firms, schools and clinics". The AI reads your website and the whole description, not one keyword out of it, asks two or three questions, and works out which categories on the public record that actually means.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. A keyword matcher reading "care homes and clinics" can latch onto the letters "car" and hand you car dealerships. Reading the sentence in the context of an office supplies business, it cannot. The full explanation of how an audience is checked is worth five minutes before you start.

Twenty-five leads, and twenty-five emails you can actually send.

Every lead carries the Companies House record, its website, an email that belongs to the company, and the director's name when the record has it. The trial sends its first 25 from your own mailbox, no card.

Step two: confirm the categories before a lead is spent

Before anything is spent, you are shown the categories (SIC codes) that will be used, the area, and real sample companies that match. Any of it can be changed before you go on. The same assistant can set up your email on the Template: your look, your logo and your words.

Anything the AI is not confident about is not quietly included. It stays out until you decide otherwise. A guess that reaches your inbox has already cost you a lead.

Step three: read what came back

Your leads arrive on the Feed as emails rather than rows: each card is the email itself, written to that company from its dated reason. The company, the director, the email, the website and the social pages sit on the Leads screen. Before a lead reaches you the company's website is opened and the email address is checked, and whatever fails is dropped. A lead that cannot be completed is never delivered and never charged.

The practical result is that your 25 should all be companies you recognise as customers. If any are not, that is a fault worth telling us about, not a rounding error to accept.

Step four: connect your own mailbox

Sending happens from your mailbox, not ours. You connect your own Google or Microsoft account, and the emails go out with your name on them, from your domain, with your signature and your reply address.

That is not a technical detail, it is the whole reason the replies work. An email from a shared sending platform starts every conversation from behind. Our deliverability guide covers the SPF, DKIM and DMARC side of keeping it that way.

Step five: send your 25, follow-ups included

The trial allowance is 25 prospects, not 25 messages. Follow-ups to somebody already inside your 25 are free, so a first email plus the follow-ups to all 25 people is entirely within the allowance.

You approve, change or skip each written email, and Leadistry handles the timing: the first email, two short follow-ups (day 4 and day 9 by default, adjustable, or switched off), and a hard stop the moment somebody replies. A new mailbox sends 5 a day, then 10, 15 and upwards, inside the days and hours you set, so your 25 go out over several days rather than in one burst. Sending beyond 25 prospects needs a paid plan, and sending is included on every paid plan. There is more on the mechanics in what a lead generation pipeline actually is, and the Mailbox page covers the sending side in detail.

Step six: replies land with you

Because you sent it, the reply comes back to your mailbox like any other email. Nothing sits in a separate inbox waiting to be checked. Leadistry notices the reply, stops everything to that company, and puts it on the Desk, where opening it drafts an answer that only goes if you send it.

What happens when the 25 run out

Nothing is charged. Your leads stay in the app, your agent stays set up, and the sending stops until you pick a plan. Growth is £29 a month for 900 leads, Pro is £69 for 2,400 and Scale is £139 for 6,000, with twelve months costing the same as ten if you pay annually. The pricing page has the full comparison, and how Leadistry pricing works explains why we count it that way.

Is this compliant cold email?

Yes, done the way the product does it. UK B2B outreach to limited companies runs on legitimate interest with a documented assessment behind it, PECR is followed, we are registered with the ICO under ZC200538, and a removal request is honoured within 24 hours. Our data comes from Companies House and each company's own website, and is never bought from brokers. The UK GDPR guide for B2B data sets out what that means for you as the sender.

Run the loop this week

Twenty-five leads, twenty-five sends, no card, and a reply or two if your offer is any good. Start free, describe your business in a sentence, and judge the product by what lands in your inbox rather than by what a landing page says about it.

Common questions

Do I need a card for the Leadistry free trial?

No. The 25 leads and the 25 free emails are granted at signup with no payment details, and nothing charges automatically at the end.

Can I really send cold emails on a free trial?

Yes, to your first 25 prospects, from your own connected Google or Microsoft mailbox. Follow-ups to those same 25 people are included, because the allowance counts prospects rather than messages. Sending beyond 25 prospects needs a paid plan.

What is not included in the free trial?

Downloading your leads as a file, and the leads link for Google Sheets. Both are paid features. Everything else, including the checked website and email on every lead, the LinkedIn and social pages when they are found, and the first 25 sends, is available on the trial.

Do LinkedIn and social profiles use up my free leads?

No. One lead is one lead. Director LinkedIn, company LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram are included free whenever they are found, on the trial and on every paid plan, so 25 leads stays 25 leads.
