What the public record shows about every director
Companies House names every director of every UK limited company: the name they filed, their month and year of birth, nationality, stated occupation and their other current directorships. It is free to read and always has been. For anyone selling B2B, it answers the first question outreach ever has: who actually runs this company?
How to run a director search
On the Companies House search service, type a person's name and it lists every appointment they hold. Or search a company and open its people tab to see the officers, past and present. No account, no fee. One filing tells you who signs things off, how long they have been there, and what else they run.
What the public record cannot tell you
The public record holds no email addresses and no phone numbers. A director's contact details live elsewhere: on the company's own website, and on the public profiles the director chooses to keep. That gap between the name and the inbox is where most prospecting time disappears.
From a name on a filing to a conversation
