Meet your AI lead-gen employee

Product Updates7 AUG 2026 · 6 MIN READ · UPDATED 19 SEPT 2026

Leadistry comes with an AI that works like a new hire: a two-minute chat sets up your agent, and every morning it brings a handful of leads with the first email already drafted. You approve before anything sends.

Hiring your first salesperson is a big step. Most UK small businesses never get there. So we built the next best thing into Leadistry: an AI that works like a lead-gen employee. You talk to it for two minutes. It sets up your agent: who to look for, where to look, and the pitch that goes into your emails. Then it turns up every morning with a handful of leads and the first email to each already drafted. And by default nothing goes out until you have approved it.

What the two-minute chat looks like

  1. It reads your website. You give it your web address. It works out what you sell, who buys it, and how you talk about it.
  2. It asks two or three easy questions. "Do you serve the whole UK or just your area?" "What does a good first customer look like?" Plain English, no settings screens.
  3. It picks the trades and the area. Your answers become the right SIC codes and the area to cover, and it shows you real sample companies before anything is charged.
  4. It writes your pitch. The two lines of each email that are in your own words. Read them. Change anything. Tell it if it got you wrong.

That is the whole interview. Two minutes of your time, and the output is not a report or a to-do list. It is an agent, ready to start work the next morning.

What it does every morning

One employee, four jobs, done in order before you are at your desk:

  • Register. At 06:00 it reads yesterday's filings on the public record and dates the reason to get in touch: a new incorporation, a filing deadline, a new director, a change of registered office.
  • Contact. It finds the named person, usually the director. Never info@.
  • Verifier. It opens the company's website and tests the email address. Whatever fails is dropped.
  • Drafter. It writes the first line of the email from the dated reason.

By 07:00 the results are in the Feed. Expect a handful of leads, not hundreds. Each card is the company, the named person, the dated reason and the first email already written. You approve, redraft or skip. The screens are walked through in what changed in Leadistry V2.

One agent per kind of customer

Most businesses sell to more than one kind of buyer, so you can run several agents side by side, one for each. Any of them can be paused when you are busy and picked up again later. And when you want a batch for a specific push rather than waiting for the morning, you can run a search yourself with "Find some now".

You approve. Nothing sends until you say so.

This is the rule the whole product is built around. The AI writes drafts, and each one waits in the Feed for you. It never invents a fact about a prospect: everything it says about a company comes from the public record and the company's own website. A reply from a real person always stops everything to that company and comes straight to you.

Autopilot exists, and it is off by default. It is one switch for the whole account, and you can still hold back individual kinds of reason on the Agents page. Even switched on, it never answers a reply, never spends anything, never changes who the agent looks for, and never sends without your pitch.

If that sounds strict, it is meant to. Your name is on every email. You should have read it first.

What it keeps doing after day one

A good employee does not stop after setup week. Neither does this one:

  • It redrafts on request. Shorter, warmer, or plain words. Each change is a new draft for you to approve, and "Always" makes it your standing rule.
  • It sends at a sensible pace. From your own Google or Microsoft mailbox, inside UK office hours, starting at 5 a day and climbing by 5 each active day to a ceiling. Two short follow-ups go out after the first email (Day 4 and Day 9 by default), and you can move them or switch them off.
  • It handles replies properly. A reply stops everything to that company. The reply is sorted and an answer is drafted, but you are the one who sends it.
  • It tests your pitch. Two pitches can run side by side and are judged on replies. There is no open-tracking pixel and nothing is rewritten in your links, so a reply is the only thing counted.
  • It answers questions. Ask the Desk about your leads, your emails or your bill in plain English. "Why is this email not getting replies?" gets an answer from your own numbers, and it can do the job for you when asked.

What it costs

Nothing extra. The AI is part of Leadistry. Leads stay simple too: one lead is one lead, always with the Companies House record, the director's name, a verified website and a verified email. The full pricing story is in how Leadistry pricing works, and Leadistry V2 covers what the agent actually does each morning now. For the hours it replaces, published estimates put list building at about eight hours by hand against 26 minutes with AI: how long lead generation takes, with and without AI.
